Follow the Art Trail to over 50 art galleries and artists studios across the Hawkes Bay region. You will find public artwork on display adorning the streets of Hastings City. And a must is a walk around the Seas Walls exhibition in Napier, where artists mix street art with an environmental message.
Visit over 65 wineries in the Hastings District and on the increase are boutique beer and cider houses opening up.
Immerse yourself in the local delicacies at the Hawkes Bay Farmers Market every Sunday in Hastings, one of the best markets in the country.
Discover the amazing Art Deco buildings, and the history of the 1931 earthquake which resulted on the inner city of Napier being devastated, on a walking tour of the Napier city streets.
Visit the National Aquarium of New Zealand in Napier.
Fancy trialing some locally brewed cider and beer, then one of our favorite places to go is the fantastic Filter Room , where their brews are produced on site… twelve boutique beers/ciders in their range.
Food, food, food, the Hawkes Bay is renowned for its fantastic produce…. There are so many great restaurants… Craggy Range , Pacifica , Mission Estate, Elephant Hill, Farmers Market , who each pride themselves on using fresh, seasonal and local produce.
